Don't play with your food children!!

So we ventured out last night and ready for a good night, was touch and go what the plans were with me and my girl early doors as to whether I was with her or making my own plans. We headed out together though and in a show of unity we bought one cocktail and got another free haha. We are so going to be together forever! After a couple of drinks the camera's come out and so do the candles. We pay homage to Mourinho briefly before puring wax over ourselves. An amazing experience and it showed that we were prepared to do anything for a laugh haha. We are dangerous baby step aside as we are in the club.

We were on it with the wax until we got bored and then one of my girl's friends ex's turned up. She weren't feeling him as it wasn't like that broke up on good terms, when is there ever an amicable split though. After finishing our drinks me and my girl struck one or two poses and then on trying to enter the party room we were told to breeze. They weren't feeling my footwear, I was disappointed as I was trying to bring Ski's mainstream. Okay so I weren't really wearing Ski's but I have got in many places before with my footwear. We moved on disappointed but hungry..

So like all hungry people we fed our urges and stopped to pick up some food. A big apology here to our parents who for many years told us not to play with our food. We just couldn't help ourselves and how I lust over my girl watching her eat and devour a burger in a few quick bites. I love the way she chews it and even more the way she swallows haha. Anyway the train arrived and we took off home giggling and still tasting the burger from our teeth as the night wore on. We slept well that night with dreams of edible foreplay and being chased by Ronald McDonald and the Hamburglar. They will never catch us though as we have candles xxx

I have a thirst

Well annoyed with the situation at Chelsea Football Club at the moment, not only does the best manager we have ever had exit the club but we have a novice in charge now. Airing your dirty washing in public has been the big problem at Chelsea. The media love stirring it all up and now one of the main sources of entertaining headlines will no longer figure on the back pages. Rival clubs think it's well funny but I don't think we will have a reverse of fortunes overnight. I do though think that appointing Grant is crazy and just shows how little Roman knows about football at this level. Oh well though after the expected exodus come May I think the road ahead looks a lot different. I will miss Jose down at the bridge but he has created our history now and his legacy will live on. I am sure he will have further success where ever he goes and I hope the ship will be steadied and Chelsea go on to winning more silverware. Where's that drink...

Thanks for the memories !!!!!

Had a good nights sleep last night, was awoken by the usual annoying alarm tone roaring around the bedroom. I don't know whether it's the tone or that I know it's waking me up to head off to work that gets me the most. Like the scratching down a blackboard!! Today was different, don't really get texts in the night so figured something had occurred. Both messages were about Jose Mourinho and that he had left Chelsea. I laid back in bed for a few moments with mixed feelings, he's been a great manager but he is man who is decisive. A person not to be controlled, a leader and someone that I admire a lot. Okay there's been a lot going on behind the scene's this last year but he has been a breath of fresh air and love or loathe he was the missing piece.

Looking back over the years I never really felt Hoddle, Gullit was okay but never believed he was the one, Vialli now I liked him as he had character but not enough to stop him being replaced by Ranieri. He brought us on a lot but with the financial backing he wasn't going to do badly although I feel he made some wrong decisions. In his last season the press made him into too much of a victim and although he was a good guy we needed a leader. Enter Mourinho and the guy had everything, however people may not like his methods he was a character and an inspiration and he led Chelsea on to win the silverware us fans craved. The last year was up and down and I did believe he would go in the summer but when all the animosity of the last season had been cleared it was looking like this was the season. Even without too much of a spend in the transfer window. Although I am angry at his departure I am saddened to be losing one of my idols and a person that has given Chelsea the history that many northerners don't believe we have. I will continue to follow his career and wish him luck with his future pursuits but it's arrivederci Jose and thanks for the memories!!!!

The Great Escape...

Today has been fairly calm, seems to be lots of random queries coming through at work at the moment. It makes it interesting though trying to delve through peoples PC's remotely and figure out why it isn't working. Be bored just doing the same thing all the time as it would feel like Groundhog Day. Trying to organise at work finishing earlier one day a week so I can see my children but haven't heard anything back regarding that yet. That means tonight I didn't head over to see them but I spoke to them on the phone. My boy was more interested in talking to my girl as he broke the news to her that the Hamster they had recently got had escaped. Time to check for it's passport I think in case it's gone on a vacation. Think tonight me and my girl are going to watch some movies. No chance of football this evening as we cancelled the sports package grrrrrrrrrrrr... hiiiiisss haha!!!

I built this city...

Originally this website was just going to be a social experiment but it's become like my online diary. Some people question why I bother but I find it a good outlet, it's now just another part of my online identity. I've had quite a reach across several sites and platforms over the last few years and it is a good experience changing and getting into new sites and projects. Picking up what people are feeling, not just about me but about what's going on around them. We're all becoming voyeurs, my site just gives reflection. What's interesting though is that other than Facebook a lot of my traffic comes from a Gundog site. What's that about, someone after me and going to set a pack of dogs onto me after letting off a few rounds. Help me John Connor!!

Watching Chelsea tonight I wish someone would come from the future and pick them up. This season hasn't started too well, okay we have only lost one game but we don't look too strong. Have we become too direct, a route one team with no alternative. I hope not and I have faith that we will turn it around, whether we can do it at Old Trafford Sunday I don't know but after a dismal performance this evening I hope it's sooner rather than later as don't want to be chasing again all season. On another note my girl isn't feeling too well at the moment, neithers the baby so get well soon girls. Spoke to my children this evening and got my daughter to read to me over the phone, it worked out quite well and we managed to finish the whole of the Princess and the Pea. With technology even though I am apart from my children I am going to push to be as actively involved in their lives as I can. Enter the Internet, this is going to help me in being there for them even though I'm not in person. Web cameras and websites are going to be the key in raising them through the early years of their lives. Although with my son only just coming to terms with me not being able to see through the phone it's going to be an interesting task. Bring it on !!!

One year on..

Good evening and welcome to the world of Joe Dawson! Writing my story and trying to make sense of what life throws at me. If you haven't already guessed or you are new in that case where have you been the last year... This is my site, my outlet and also somewhere I can upload photos. When I started writing I was particularly going anywhere fast other than trying to reach the bottom of the next drink. I also was a little all over the place but after direction from friends I decided to lay down a marker. That marker was one year ago and if you have followed me along the way it's been a journey. This year I have covered a few hundred miles, along the way I've got some new recruits, I'm back on the road again and a lot wiser. I still have echo's from the past but not as loud. I'm no longer a fall out boy though although I do love the band. I'm now gaining momentum, aiming to be a better father and partner and maybe one day pushing for number one. Until then I guess just keep reading and maybe you will be in my future at some point....

Colour me in

Sunday mornings are all about MTV One, if I miss Meet the Barkers, Super Sweet Sixteen and Run's House it ruins my week. It just knocks out my train of thought, I find myself wandering the streets aimlessly shouting random names and chasing shadows. Look into that what you may but today we headed to the tattooists to see about getting tattoo's. We're big, we're strong and we are going to get coloured in... just not today. In fact not for another month according to their diary as they are well booked up. The design I want is a combination of two koi designs, my girl is interested in several but only wants the one tattoo. She was going to get a white tattoo but they said they weren't going to do that so instead between us we are going to design a butterfly like pattern...

Afterwards we headed over to Blackheath to practise martial arts, well actually we just attempted hand stands and cartwheels. No one came near us though so you can knock our gymnastics but people were scared. I could see their fear, the look in their eyes was a look of bewilderment. Apart from our amateur stunts we had to try and keep the baby within distance. It make me feel like a sheep dog, racing after her and herding her back to where we are. Loads of fun and relentless as well, can tell she is going to be a proper adventurer. Makes me wonder how many miles she clocks up in a day?!?! Might try and invent something to monitor this or get a group of scientists on the case. Anyway I am off to braid my hair and I'll try and find a tattoo picture similar to mine...
