Sales Pitch

App StoreImage via WikipediaUpdated: 03/12/08 - With around 10,000 applications for the iPhone/iPod Touch available through Apple’s App Store, today Apple have announced details of the top selling applications through iTunes. The lists are separated by whether the the application is paid or free - first as an overall look, and then by each major category (games, entertainment, utilities, social networking, and music) [Source].

The iPhone has definitely been one of the gadgets of the year, through my sales pitch I have convinced several colleagues to get involved. Installing the applications and being always connected has reshaped the way that they interact through a mobile device. Seriously I feel that I should be on the Apple payroll, considering that each person has signed up to a minimum 18 month contract. Louis Gray is right that there are two phones in this world; iPhone and not iPhone although I am sure Nokia have other ideas with the N97 scheduled for release in the "first quarter of 2009".
