Leeds Calling

I wrote earlier this week that Leeds Metropolitan University confirmed that they had received my application and that the Course Leader would like to conduct a telephone interview. I was optimistic because the interview would be an informal one discussing my knowledge and experience in relation to the course. The conversation went well and today the Course Leader has agreed to offer an unconditional place on the course starting this September. I'm obviously excited and overwhelmed, the course has also been restructured to include new media which increases the relevance to what I have studied and followed over the last decade. September can't arrive soon enough and I'm definitely going to enjoy the summer now knowing that I have a real opportunity. To get into the mindset I would be grateful if anyone who follows this blog could offer suggestions on relevant books or material I could read in preparation? Alternatively any recommendations on accommodation would be appreciated!
