He can't talk he's pretend

So today's adventure began once we had touched down at London Victoria station. We headed for the Underground and I am thankful that I am not disabled as just navigating with the pushchair was a chore. Had to switch into gear as travelling the tube everyday I know this station can be a nightmare so didn't want there to be a build up of the children everywhere and losing them all so tried to get us all through in a quick swoop. It worked (kinda) and after crossing over to the wrong side and travelling back to the correct station we were on our way. South Kensington we landed and it's a long tunnel until we reach daylight and the museum. Haven't been here in a while since I used to work selling tickets for concerts but we breezed through quite quickly to the entrance of the Museum...

Haven't been here in a while and was impressed with the size of the place, my children were intrigued and running around checking things out. There was a lot for them and they were checking out the displays and asking questions. We found some Space Chewing Gum for my boy in one of the displays and he gladly posed with it wondering how he could get it out haha. My girl found some futuristic knickers and I could only fantasies about her stripping down to them as sadly they weren't on sale...

There was a lot of interesting displays available and we worked our way through some of the historical showings and headed downstairs to the Basement...

It was here that the child in all of us broke free as we were all running around here as we could fully interact with what was on show. Building and creating and trying to keep an eye on where my boy was as he was truly in his element...

We moved on after exhausting everything and also due to our need for food. On our journey to eat we found another area for the children to play and got on it here for a little while before moving on to finally have some food and sit down after chasing the children around...

After working through the Gift Shop which was a lengthy process we proceeded through the tunnel again and then jumped on to the train. The children had slowed right down now and I could see that the day of walking had taken it's toll as they were knackered. We didn't have to wait long for the train as it was at the station almost as soon as we came down the stairs.

At Victoria we walked about for a while trying to decide what we could eat next and believe me it was a tough challenge as there was a lot appealing to us. Eventually though we put our hearts into Burger King and ended up with a Spiderman toy. We rushed for the train and crashed out with our food on the way back home.

Finally reaching our destination we opened the Spiderman toy, he was alive or so some of us believed but one of the tired members of our group wasn't impressed. I tried building up a repor between my son and Spiderman but it turned really nasty and Spiderman got taught a lesson. Oh well other than this episode which wasn't fair as I kind of provoked it my boy was much better this weekend. Next week we have a few things on the table so either swimming, boat trip or Pirates of the Caribbean. Be good to get involved in all of them but need to sort out our trip to Disney...
