Wave Preview

Google WaveImage by mightyb via Flickr

Google Wave is an online tool for real-time communication and collaboration. A wave can be both a conversation and a document where people can discuss and work together using richly formatted text, photos, videos, maps, and more. Google Wave is currently in a limited preview, I managed to secure an invitation courtesy of @wilk3sy!!

I'm impressed, the real-time interaction is incredible, friends at work feel that I'm easily convinced when it comes to everything tech and new but I feel that Google Wave has massive potential. Whether it will become a replacement for email, instant messenger or become a collaboration standard the online tool has me convinced! I would be interested in participating with a large number of people in a wave, jump into conversations and playback the wave to see who said what and when! If you are also using Google Wave, I'm interested to read about your thoughts! Do you feel that it will eventually replace email?
