Planning for the house...

After watching an amazing cup tie between Liverpool and Arsenal which finished in favour of the away team 6-3 and was a real good cup battle. I am now sitting in front of my PC wondering what to get when I move into my house. There is so much that I need and with the Consumer Electronic Show still taking place, I decided to browse whats instore to be released over the coming months. As detailed yesterday I wouldn't mind subscribing to the IPTV service that Microsoft are set to offer through the Xbox 360. So first of all then I need to decide on a television, lots on the market but nothing seems close to the below HDTV from Sony. I take it many people are familiar with Plasma and LCD will this set is the next generation. It's a 1080p OLED HDTV with a contrast ratio of greater than 1,000,000:1. Okay so a little out of my price range as I expect this to be a considerable amount of lose change haha. There were a few large TVs unveiled, Microsoft announced that Zune will eventually play games and just looking through some sites now and Apple announced that iTV will be AppleTV and unveiled the iPhone. This does look impressive and if I were feeling watching content on a handheld then I seriously would consider this. I might just get it for the novelty aspect for my house haha. So I have the television and phone sorted so far and now I need to choose a bed, doubt any of those will be shown at CES2007 so if anyone knows anywhere good I will invite you over to play with my toys haha. Boys and their toys, what I would get if I were rich and famous as I would be on one. Today has been quiet, had a meeting about processes and spoke to my childrens mum as well so hopefully I will be seeing them tomorrow...
