Back to Front

Weren't really sure what to do today as the weather wasn't looking that great as it seemed a bit gloomy out. Figured that we would just go to Greenwich Park and try and catch us a pet Deer. Seeing as how my children's mother had got them a pet I figured that would eclipse that as a pet. On the way there we came across signs for the Dome so we decided we would have a detour there. Especially as when I went with the O2 Guru Program they had an indoor 'beach' with sand. I figured that would do the children for a few hours anyway! We touched down in the car park and headed to the entrance, this time with the Dog involved as the plan was still to eventually reach the park. Outside the entrance they have three circles which shoot jets of water into the air. What a blast we had here, especially as we noticed that my son had his shoes on the wrong feet and he looked proper funny. Downside to this though is that where he doesn't stay by our sides we soon forgot which later was to come back and bite us...

We trecked around to where I came across the 'beach' and downer... It had been taken away, outside we could see the bags of sand, my boy tried to get out there but instead we managed to shepherd him into the Chill-Out Area. We figured this would be amazing but it's basically just a smaller Dome with ear plugs in the floor for you to listen to music and relax. I personally would like to have seen something like a games console or handheld in there. Maybe they would lead to over competitiveness though and this would lead to it getting rather loud in there. We then felt hungry so headed to Nando's, rather concerned with the S&M Cafe though. What goes down there?!?! Nando's was enjoyable we messed about and took some dodgy photos that I won't publish. We firmed the food, although my boy wanted to try the very hot sauce! He said it was nice after trying it from my plate, big mistake as he was then burning up. Got him back for his naughtyness earlier. My daughter was trying to eat without getting too much food on her and when she did she was soon quick to dodge the photo. Baby was really good as well, making me laugh waving at all the staff that worked there.

After this we headed outside and down to the River front, apart from a situation with the Puppy it was good. Think only me and my boy were feeling the water front as the girls were quick to bring up the cold, time and nerves before heading back to the car. It was earlier than normal to be taking the children home but where we were out and about we decided to drop them off and head home. I was greeted by their cheerful mother who instantly picked up on the trainers being on the wrong feet. Damn you woman! We saw the funny side though and drove off sniggering like school children. We've got a DVD from Blockbuster to do us for the rest of the evening so have a good one and hope your looking forward to the work week as much as me...
